White foods are food that are sometimes made with white flower such as bread and some pastas. Rice and certain kinds of potatoes are also considered white. These kind of foods are often higher in starch and carbs and can affect people with certain conditions such as Diabetes and I found that for some with fibromyalgia these kind of foods can affect how they feel too. I found this out from a friend who asked me if I tried a diet called the Fibromyalgia diet for my fibromyalgia.

My brother's doctor once told him to avoid white foods. What he meant was to avoid processed sugar, starch (such as white flour, white rice) and fats (butter fat, animal fat). Replace them with whole, unprocessed grains, natural fruit sugars, and more natural fats as found in vegetable and olive oils, and nuts.
