I STRONGLY doubt I have any STDs, but I just wanna make SURE I don't have any. I'm going to get tested the day after next. The reason why is because of my ex-boyfriend cheating, even though he & I used protection every single time. I've had STD testing before, & I'm scared of them sticking stuff up me. It's uncomfortable & really painful. But it's way better off than suffering an STD. I have a nervous disorder & can't stay relaxed or keep still.

First of all you are doing the right thing. They should be able to do everything through a blood test. If you need a pap smear they will do that too.

It won't be too bad, just go and get it over with. And the entire time you are there think about how you are going to get revenge on this cheating bum.

Good luck - just go so you don't worry anymore.

First what a spineless prick your ex is! Thanks I feel better now with that off my chest.
As already stated most tests are done with a blood test. Think about this though, if your job was to look at people personal bits all day long after a while it would be just like working n a production line pulling a lever or something in a factory..
Yours wouldn't cause them any reason to notice (I am sure it is unique, and lovely and all that) so you can go there knowing that you won't stand out or be odd or different etc.
Think of the ritual of going for this check up like washing your hands for the last time- getting rid of idiot boy physically and mentally closing his file. Use it for your advantage that way like a conclusion.

Sticking stuff up you????? Ummmmmmmmmmm unless they are checking for HPV MOST STD testing is done via blood tests. Since you have time to call the doc call tomorrow and ask him for something to help you relax before the appointment and he can call the script in to your pharmacy.
