Big problem here with the veggie diet --- we are not built like herbivores, and therefore our livers need to work overtime to combine the necessary proteins. The basics still have to be there, but they can be provided by plants with enough education and patience.

I suggest you combine as many nuts and soy bean and wheat products as possible in your diet. Each of these have only shortened snippets of protein that you need, but in combination the human liver can combine them and produce what your body desires. There's a lot more to add, too, if you want to keep your body healthy.

Trust qualified nutritionists. They know the subject down to the molecule, and I've never met one that didn't understand the challenges and advantages of a vegetarian diet.

Good luck and chomp down the almonds...

I just wanted to say that for safety reasons do not take the first persons advice with the boric acid. I know you probably already know this but there are some people that might actually take it and I wanted to mention that this will cause serious bodily harm if you do it. I have already reported this person and hopefully they are removed from this forum. As for protien try nuts, legumes, beans, soy, tofu, and fruits. You can also buy vegetable protien to mix in with smoothies or other foods.

Everything has protein in it. Even a carrot has one gram of protein. Just eat and you will be alright. Glass of soymilk and a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat is a quick protein fix. Use a full two tablespoons of peanut butter.

Beans are packed full of protein. I might also try things that have soy like soy milk or tofu.

Oddly worded question. But if it's protein you're after just remember, BEANS BEANS THE MAGICAL FRUIT, THE MORE YOU EAT, THE MORE YOU TOOT!

Truer words were never spoken.
