Do you make your own veggies?
Then I think it is something that you are doing wrong and not the veggies fault, I've never had any problems with my veggies being bland.

Vegetarian diet bland? What are you trying to eat? A salad everyday?...I could imagine that being very bland too then if I were you. Vegetarians can have egg and cheese omelets, pasta, ice cream, cakes, tacos with just veggie meats, pizza, and lots of other incredibly unhealthy non-bland things. You probably just automatically thought vegetarian = nothing but steamed veggies on a plate.

You haven't sampled enough of the amazing variety of vegetarian dishes. I don't enjoy bland food either, but there are so many seasonings & sauces available when I cook @ home that it's never been a concern. When we go out to eat, I love Greek, Thai or Indian food.

IDK- probably b/c you are not eating a variety of foods. I honestly believe that my food choices are much better now that I don't eat meat. I eat a lot of different things and I have discovered how to cook everyday things with different spices to make them taste different from before.
I'd suggest that you check out a vegetarian cookbook from the library for ideas. There's only so many things you can do to a cut of meat, but fruit, veggies and beans...the possibilities are endless!!

You probably need to learn more vegetarian recipes. Try Indian and other Asian cuisines. Indian folks know the right way to cook veggies! Mm mm good.

Couldn't tell ya cuz I haven't had more flavor in my life. Indian food is my favorite EVER. Here in Ann Arbor, MI, there is this small Indian buffet called Earthen Jar and most of it is vegan and it is just *amazing*. It is a two hour drive from me and I happily go for the overly abundant flavor. :)

You need to go to a thai restaraunt if you think vegetarian food is bland.

I'm vegan and I HATE bland food, so I don't eat it. If someone is always talking about eating hummus(which is ok sometimes but not every day) or tofu pate, please ask them to stop making veg*nism sound like stupid hippie sh*t.
This is what I do eat:
Breakfast: bananas, cream of wheat with brown sugar and soy butter, cereal, pancakes or french toast with real maple syrup, vegan "sausage" patties, smoothies.
Lunch: VEGAN "SAUSAGE" SANDWICHES, sandwiches with vegan deli slices(Tofurkey is the only one that's kinda funky), fruit, dinner leftovers, couscous salad, vegan sushi, potato or pasta salad.
Dinner: sloppy joes, "sausage" and gravy with homemade biscuits, Spaghetti and Trader Joe's "meatballs" or TVP, lasagna, Thai pad see ew, pad khi mao(drunkard's noodles), pad prig king, tofu+eggplant with basil sauce, yellow thai curry with tofu or vegan chikn and veggies and jasmine rice, Indian dal with homemade roti or dosai, channa masala, aloo gobi, vegetable or minestrone soup, pizza, STEAMED "PORK" BUNS with potstickers or spring rolls, sweet&sour/orange/lemon chikn, vegan pho or wonton soup
