Well, the slaughterhouses are for when the poor sheeps meets its end. Enough said about that.
I've seen videos where the sheep are mistreated when being sheared. The actual process of shearing is not good for the sheep. It sends their bodies out of whack and they are unable to regulate their body temperatures without it. They are more susceptible to diseases as they sweat, it settles in their folds and it creates problems. If they had their fur, it would't happen.

No, not like peta says it. Slaughterhouses are probably less humane, but it would be against their best interest to treat the animals poorly. For example, if you treat a cow like crap, they won't produce milk or have calves, that and hte meat of a stressed animal is bad. So they would lose money to treat animals poorly. There are some inhumane slaughterhouses out there, but things aren't as bad as animal rights activists make them seem.
With sheep, they aren't killed, theyre simply sheared, which is necessary for the health of the sheep, and humans benefit from their wool as well

Shearing a sheep is like shaving your head or legs. They use electric clippers and just remove the fur, to make wool out of it. It does not any way harm the sheep. Most of the people that do this can take the fur off in one hunk without so much as scrapping the sheep. Slaughter houses are a different story. That is where they kill them to use the meat lamb chops dog food etc. ick.
Hope this helps you.

No but I do when I go get a haircut.
Secondly they aren't sheared in slaughterhouses, that's where they would be slaughtered and the meat cut. But rather usually the farmers do the shearing themselves.

Oh come on!
Would that not depend on the slaughterhouse or farm?
You cannot lump them all together.

Probably. But then again I think anything killed probably isn't humane. . .
I say eat it all, there's no since in letting food go bad. Rottening meat is a disgrace.

They don't mind being sheared....the slaughter part is slightly more painful...I'm not one for lamb chops so we can stop that anytime...
