I assume you mean 209 instead of 20.9 about your sugar levels?

Anyway, did you test before or after you ate. If it's before, yes, that is high, if it's after, it's not too high, really.

My sugars ran between 300 and 500 for about a year before they put me on insulin. I understand "tired." It's a tired no one else can understand.

If you are small and your sugar is 209, then you may have a bigger problem than I understand. But, at 209 I am not too bad off...and I am heavy. Of course you would still be tired and such, but it's something you may have to get used to while you work with your doctor to get things stable.

Metformin is not strong enough for me. Try other medications. Insulin is only used when necessary, and I suggest you not try for it!

Diet and excercise will get your sugar levels down. And water. I went to the hospital with sugars at almost 600 (I think that's what it was), and they just gave me an IV to rehydrate me and made me sit around. My doctor told me to drink water until it flushes my system out next time.

Also, you have got to realize that you can not eat certain things. Carbs and fat make sugars go up too (I didn't know fat did until recently). So, watch the fat content too! (I felt like I could only eat lettuce for a while!!!!)

Also, exercising will make your sugar drop pretty quick. If you're sugar is high ( I know you're tired) but if you can manage to exercise it will go down enough to deal.

^Do you mean 209? The fact that your taking metformin, I assume your type 2. Also you didn't say if it was before or after eating, before eating it's very high, after a meal it's still on the high side, which means you probably are eating to many carbs and have to cut back on how many carbs your consuming also watch your fat intake, even though fat doesn't contain carbs, it still can have an effect on your glucose levels.

You should see your endocrinologist and if you don't already have a good team you should be seeing a diabetics teacher and a nutritionist as well. Ask about diabetic classes in your area.

You need to watch your carb intake, do you know how many you can have per meal or snack, it varies from person to person. You can get your glucose down by what you eat and exercise, but you have to be careful if your glucose is to high or to low, you shouldn't exercise, this is something you should discuss with your doctor as well. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/oZeG9
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

What is your diet like? This time of year you need to be careful about sweet tea, lemonade from a mix (tons of sugar) and too much fruit.

Talk to a diabetic consultant about proper eating habits for your condition. Your doctor's office should be able to refer you, or call the ADA.
