If it's a real Korean restaurant, there's no limit. But you obviously have to order other stuff on the menu like Karubi, Bibimba, Yukke or whatever you fancy.

Tell them you love it so much, you'd like to purchase a quantity to go w/ your meal. They will then realize you really love it, and probably bring you plenty. I think they're worried you'll waste it, as it is an acquired taste, and w/ you not beign Korean, they dont' want to waste it.

as much as you can if you are eating a lot. try buying kimchi and bring it home, then cook fried rice with kimchi and egg strips (scrambled and sliced)/ you might forget your name.
