You've only been sexual with one person and vice versa?

To make this clearer, if you've only had sex with one person, and that person has only had it once with you as well.

If you continue to have sex with that one person with or without protection, will you get an STD or AIDS?

Why or why not?

Thanks.

you get AIDS/STD's when someone that you had sex with has AIDS/STD, they don't just happen!
Your chances of getting an STD increases when your partner has an STD and you are not using protection!

If neither of you has ever had sexual contact with another person, no you cannot get STD's. However, sexual contact includes more than just intercourse. You can get herpes from kissing someone. You are also potentially putting your life at risk by assuming that the other person is telling the truth when they say they have never had sexual contact with anyone else. The best way to go: both of you should get tested for STD's. If everything is negative, it is a decision for you and your partner to make about whether you use protection. It would have to be someone you really trust to know that they would not cheat on you, thus exposing you to STD's. Until you know for sure, use a condom.

First let's differentiate between STD's and AIDS.

AIDS can be contracted through any number of sources, blood transfusions etc, if you contracted AIDS through a blood transfusion, then had unprotected sex with someone, the answer is yes, you could get, or give AIDS to the other.

Hepatitis is another disease that follows the same basic rules as AIDS

STD's are a different story, as a rule, the only STD you can get from somewhere OTHER than sexual contact, is trichomoniasis, and that can be spread through direct contact with damp towels, etc.

Short answer is, if your partner has an STD, and you are POSITIVE you don't, then I would question things...:)

If that person had gotten AIDS or an STD by another means (AIDS or hepatitis from dirty needle use, herpes from a toilet seat,
hepatitis from blood transfusion or working as a healthcare worker and exposure to blood/body fluids) then, yes, you can catch an STD from having unprotected sex with that person, even if you are both monogamous.

well if ou were both virgins no oral sex or intercourse and you both never cheated and only had sex and intercourse with each other then NO you would not be able to contract an STD or aids. Unless you got ahold of some dirty needle or something along those lines.

If you were both virgins and lost it to eah other. Then no you wouldn't get AIDs (considering you guys never gave oral or kissed someone who had the disease with open wounds), but how do you know what that person is doing every minute of the day??? It better to be safe than sorry

of course not if they have no disease and are managonous with you and you are only with them and you are std free then NO you cant get something if you are both faithful and there was nothing to be caught in the first place

if both of you are clean, and you both present paperwork saying that you're both clean, and you remain faithful to each other, then yes it's safe to engage in unprotected sex, to answer your question, no STD's cannot be formed, only passed on, same with HIV.

If you've only been with that person, and that
one person has only been with you then I would say
no because both of you are "clean" but you never
know. So get checked first, just in case.
