The guest list is 200+ (children & adults) and the cash flow is running low... I've come up with some ideas of my own, but I'm not sure they're all that great. Please help! Thanks in advance!!

A really cute and inexpensive favor for large groups are custom hershey's kisses. You can get little stickers made to fit the bottoms of the kisses. Adorable and sweet - in more ways than one - ha ha. Here is the info. you need http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com/custom-chocolate-kisses.html

Hope your party is memorable for all.

Congratulations! What I would do is check out what is available at the Dollar stores if they are in your area. Secondly, I would go check out your local "Freecycle" web site and ask if there are any people out there that might have some 50th anniversary decorations that they no longer need. If you are not familiar with this site, check it our. The site is totally free and people simply recycle their stuff for free. When you have a need for something, you post it and when you have something that you no longer need, you post it.
For inspiration, you might want to check out your local craft store and try to come up with some inexpensive ideas.
Good luck, I hope I helped and have a wonderful 50th!

I would just place a dish of silver covered hershey's kisses on the tables in an inexpensive dish -(look at the dollar store). why stress over favors for that many people? you could also sprinkle some of the "50th anniversary confetti on the table and in the bowl.

But it can be costly, check out the link below, they are personalized mint boxes and I didnt think they were too costly.. good luck

Do some research on the wedding. Something special from the wedding might give you a clue. For instance on our 25th anniversary we had a surprise party and the favors were the same theme we had at our wedding.

I might propose gold tone photo frames. Then you'll take a photo of your grandparents on the social gathering and ship it out for your visitors later. Everyone owns a virtual digicam at the present time so you'll have the photos revealed relatively moderately at somewhere like Wal-Mart or Sam's (you do not want a card for the photograph lab). You can uncover small frames on the buck retailer or on-line at web sites like eBay. Good Luck.... We are within the method of doing the identical for my in-legislation!!
