That depends on the STD. If it is a bacterial infection a prophylactic dose of appropriate antibiotic could prevent infection

I believe you can contract it right after contact.....do you know what type of STD it is? Some can be treated with antibiotics. I would get an appointment with your doctor right away. Good luck

It depends on the STD. Some can be treated, some cannot. If it's bacterial, you're in luck - just call your doctor and he'll give you a prescription. If it's viral, well, you may not be so fortunate.

You contract it when you "do" it. You need to go to the Dr. to get treatment if you're unsure. You can spread STD's without even knowing you have them.

You get it immediately. Also have you ever heard of condoms they were invented for a reason......they help prevent things like STD's. Go seek medical attention.

You might contract it right away__________but it would take 5-60 days for it to be diagnosable.
You must "sweat it out." See you doc as soon as possible if you are concerned.

in the future, if you think you've been exposed to any kind of std, my suggestion would be to clean with soap and water immediately, and also urinate, to rinse out anything left in your urethra.
