Good for you for giving up that habit well done!
it will take a while for your body to get over all the toxins you have been giving it.
It won't be long before you will taste food, your skin will feel great & your breathing will get better.
Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I used to smoke, I found that breathing was hard - and more importantly, difficult when I would shower. I would start hacking and coughing as soon as steam would rise. After I stopped smoking, my normal breathing and lungs became clear within weeks. It helped that I started running laps to get my lungs open.
My best to you for quitting.....you will notice a big change in your attitude and eating habits. Don't be alarmed....find something else to put in your hands until you get past the 'smokers urge' stage.

As far as the felling of no energy, something missing between fingers and desire to light up and smoke a cigarette is only from short of oxygen. Your body forgot how to breathe due to using mouth to smoke and your lung been cover up. You need to relearn how to inhaling and exhaling air from nose. You need to close mouth and take deep breath extra hard slowly and completely from nose then exhaling slowly and completely. Swimming, exercise and massages are great help.

You should see a difference within a week or so. But really, there are many factors such as age, allergies, asthma, obesity, general health status of heart, liver, blood (anemia).
See you friendly neighborhood physician. Don't guess. But, nevertheless, do QUIT smoking.
