We are having a party at a german bar, need some good ideas for games that the patron's can play. Everyone is 21 and up and please remember this is a bar so liability has to be considered (drinking till you pass out or have to get your stomach pumped is not the kind of thing we are looking for). Also there is a full german food menu at the bar so we could use food in games. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

1)Someone starts a story and then each person has to add one word to the story, as soon as one person can't come up with a word then they have to take a drink of whatever their drinking.
2)There is also categories which is where you pick something like sports team names and then everyone goes around till someone can't think of one or repeats one.
3)there is always beer pong
4)Urban Outfitters always has beer games you can buy for under ten dollars that are pretty fun.

Eating contests are good as are dance contests and competitive games like trivia and darts all are good non-drinking games that require little investment on the bars aside from time. You could also have a competition to see who can remember the most words in German to 99 red balloons. Good Luck!

Have German words posted that guests have to guess what they mean -- or sentences where they have to fill in the correct word. You could visit a German language site to get the German equivalents to American sayings or words that would get the party started! We did this once and it was hysterical what people would put for answers.

Beer pong is a great game for adults. Usually people get drunk but not stomach pumping drunk. I included some links to websites teaching how to play and what exactly the game is.

best german; name, phrase, joke, ect. Have October fest; best costume, best accent ect. Have a german wheal of fortune using german words rather than english. Guess weather a drink is german or american.
