for my sweet 16 i want to do somthinG special. I like swimming, and im think of havinf a party at the ten center at ymca they provide pizza, chips drinks.decorations ect. You can use the party room, pool and gym..they also hav inflastables . In teh party room im gonna bring my lap top [we can watch dvds} and my freind is bringing a game cube. not that ALL of my freins that will be there LOVE computers and video games. we will also bring other girl stuff. I am gonna have lip gloss and chocolates for party favors.and something personalized.Any other suggestions to make it PERFECT?

yes ...games for prizes try playing simple games heres a great fun 1
get a prize nothing fansy but something anyone would love to have and place it in a bag so noone can see what it is
get a deck of cards and face them face down on your hand and going in a circle you ask them black or red? if they guess the color card that comes up correctly they take the bag next person.....they take bag from the other and so on if they guess wrong they dont do anything and the person witht he bag still keeps it at the end of deck whoever has the bag keeps it

Have a fortune teller... a tarot card reader anything like that. You can probably pay an adult to just learn what the cards mean or you guys can even just get a kit... no one says that it's real but it's fun! Also instead of just lipgloss how about nail polish? I honestly don't think anyone will watch a DVD on a lap top if there is swimming and a bunch of things going on. Also if there is a lot of time to plan still a LOT of houses are for rent for vacations. Some of those houses have a theatre, pool, big areas to dance and can be cheap is you got it on the right day. Depending on the number of people that you invite a picture with each of them in a cheap frame (dollar store rocks!) will be a great thank you note! I think you are on a great track! If there are going to be guys there think of some things they would like too!

Instead of showing movies on your laptop, that might be asking for trouble.. Rent or buy a projection screen and show the movie on the wall of the teen center...
