Mock meats are cholesterol free and have less fat and calories than real meat. Most of them are even cruelty free and a good source of protein. The only issue is that they can be a waste of money. You shouldn't have to eat them everyday unless you can buy them in bulk for a lower price.
Don't let anyone tell you that real meat is healthier. They don't even have a clue of what is in theirs. You may as well just make the meat out of grains instead of wasting it on an animal so you can end its life horrifically.

If you eat meat then there is no way I can convince you that any substitute is "better". Personally I am not a fan of Tofurky and other "Mock-meats" I prefer veg meals that embrace the flavors of vegetables, legumes and rices. If you want to try a widely available veg "meat" option have a Falafel at any Greek place you will find it definitely not "meat" but definitely a tasty alternative.

Mock shrimp is consistent with threat the main eldritch. It appeared like, and tasted like shrimp. i could no longer consume it. Yves Veggie Bologna slices have an exceedingly unusual texture, yet I not at all cherished bologna as quickly as I did consume meat. different than those, maximum are not that weird and wonderful to me.

I eat the Boca products from time to time, but I keep thinking, how healthy can anything be that requires THAT much processing?

I personally prefer neither. I usually like to eat things that are not so processed and don't have a lot of preservatives. I prefer to make things myself (ok, my girl makes them for me - ya caught me) rather than buy them from the store.

If it's not the real thing, I don't eat it.
Soy is unhealthy in large amounts, and that is the heavily processed main ingredient in these "mock meats."
If you want to go vegan, I'd strongly suggest getting your protein from legumes and nuts. Keep the soy to a minimum, and when you do eat it, stick with tofu.
