As good of an idea as that is, no clinic will give you a list of any sort. That is confidential information You will have to ask the person and take their word for it. Although, there are a lot of people out there that have it and don't know it, so they aren't lying when they tell you "no", they just don't KNOW it.

OMG! What is wrong with you? That is none of your business. If you are that concerned, and it is OK with the other person, both of you go get tested together and then share your results with eachother.
Hospitals and the military have their own policies and procedures, as appropriate to their work environments.
Why don't you worry about the HPV, HSV, HCV, HBV, EBV, trich, chlam, gonnorhea and the rebounding syphyllis?
Have sex with**out** a condom/barrier at your own risk.
Assume that all guys that don't want to use condoms are HIV positive or will give you other STDs.
Grow up in the meantime.

Where I live, you can go to the Health Department and see who has any STD's in the area. Whatever the Health Department has is pubic records. So, I guess that you could try to find a Health Department in your area to see if you can get a list of people that have HIV.

No, it's against federal law for anybody to display a list of HIV positive people. It's even against the law for a doctor to tell a spouse without written consent.

No, no, no...this is a violation of HIPAA. Hospitals, doctors' offices, clinics, dentists, chiropractors, urgent care facilities, any agency that provides healthcare--they cannot release confidential patient information unless it is to another healthcare provider with the patient's permission.
If you suspect someone you know is HIV positive, don't have sexual contact with him or her. I know, we're all curious about things like this. But releasing such information violates the law.

incredibly, that woman would desire to be extra afraid than you than you're of her. till you're working round her blood, you mustn't would desire to worry. because you would be tagging clothing together with her, although, she'll be sure she's careful around the staples and staplers... and that i doubt that she'd be this style of klutz that she'd be reducing herself for all time. If she had a chilly, then she would desire to bypass it to her... besides the undeniable fact that it incredibly is not any different than if a guy or woman who replaced into HIV unfavourable surpassed one to her. besides the undeniable fact that, in case you're ill, in basic terms try your terrific to maintain it to your self as you will in case you have been working with somebody who's HIV unfavourable. SHE is the only with a compromised immune gadget, and while you will recover from a chilly in some days, for her it would desire to take a good purchase longer. yet another factor is that she'd be on drugs that could save her immune gadget up so don't be too alarmed in case you get a chilly. back, if it incredibly is everyone who would desire to be scared, it would be her, and not you. Oh and another factor... Please forget approximately touching directly to the human beings who're abusing you on your concern. it incredibly is that particular, human beings would understand that they do no longer seem to be in probability, yet with HIV being as terrible because it incredibly is, you will think of you may in no way be too particular... so please forget approximately approximately those people who think of it incredibly is stupid which you will ask this style of question. They act all courageous now, yet whilst they have been put in your shoes, that they had be questioning the comparable factor and all reason would bypass out their heads.

No. That is invasion of privacy and would be a breach of confidentiality laws.
The only reason why you would need to know if someone is HIV positive is that if you were in a situation that would put you at risk.
Other than that, it's none of your business unless they want you to know.
I consider HIV to a "need to know" type disease. If someone I know has HIV, I don't need to know that unless I'm going to engage in risky behavior with them. HIV is not transmitted by casual contact so there is no risk to me as long as I don't behave in such a manner.
Why are you asking this? My God, what makes you think it's any of your business??

Your best advice: Act as if EVERYONE you sexually encounter HAS HIV, and learn to correctly and consistantly use condoms to protect yourself.
Condom Facts
I have done extensive research in the area of condoms, and thier usage. All latex condoms, regardless of thin,or ribbed, or the standard are run through rigorous testing for durability as well as barrier quality. It has been proven that HIV can NOT pass through Latex or Polyurethane......whats the difference?
Latex has just a fraction more of flexibility, and can only be properly used with a water based lubricant. Oil based lubricants will weaken the latex compounds resulting in breakage. Studies report latex does provide slightly more sensitivity to the male.
Polyurethane a little less flexible, but not much at all. Polyurethane condoms were developed for those who have allergic reactions to Latex.
As far as manufacturing, as I stated before all condoms, are required a rigorous minimum of testing before being released. However, those manufactured in Japan are run through a rigorous testing check, far exceeding the other countries that manufacture condoms. In Japan, condoms are produced in batches, each batch being assigned a lot number. They then go through and randomly pull condoms of the line, throughout the manufacturing of each batch, and ran through thier testing. If one fails their testing, they remove the whole lot number, melt the batch down, and start over.
as for correct condom use....here's my take on it:
Please keep in mind, there is also plenty of things besides penetrative sex, that can excite the mind, body and soul. But if it does get to the point of penetrative sex, please protect yourself. For example, you masturbating all over her chest.....is NO RISK. The skin is a great barrier to prevent hiv.
Do NOT use two condoms at once...doubling a condom can actually cause breakage, use one latex or polyurethane condom PROPERLY, and you will be 100% safe.
Again, I advise and recommend water based lubricants, simply because they are water soluable, latex/polyurethane friendly, and safely absorbed by the body.
Condoms manufactured in japan are actually the best, as they are ran through the most thorough inspections and tests, before being released to the public*
Also, MALE condoms are most affective all the way around, comfort, sensitivity, etc.
Be sure to pinch the tip of the condom, expelling the air-pocket out of the tip before you put the condom on, and roll it down over you. The most commen contributers to condom breakage are air pockets, lack of sufficiant amount of water based lubricants, or the combination of the two.
where does doubling condoms fall into the equation? doubling a condom provides airpockets both between : the two layers of condoms, and also between the first condom and your skin. doubling condoms, is comparable to russian roullette, you may get lucky a few times, but that luck wont last long....
In closing, never use an Oil-based/petroleum based lubricant in combination with a latex condom, as they will weaken and break down the latex compounds, inviting breakage, and drastically increases the chances of breakage*
Some will say condoms arent 100%, however studies have proven, that when used Correctly and Consistantly, condoms do have 100% rating. It's sad that they post the stats that factor in incorrect use, when determining reliabilty ratings*
and dont forget, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY does NOT end when the condom is rolled down, it only takes a fraction of a second to look and check to make sure the condom is staying in place,etc....
By all means, have a wonderful time together, but from being an aids survivor, i will
tell you, the best passion, laughter,LOVE, that one could give to ANYONE, especially hiv+ people....begins with the word Genuine*
One more important note, as humans we are prone to make mistakes, especially in the heat of the moment...because of this, if it's a sero-discordent relationship( where one person is HIV+ and the other is HIV-), i personally suggest you test for HIV ATLEAST once every 6 months, if not every 3 months to protect their negative status.
When removing a condom, be sure to hold the base of the condom to prevent any spillage of semen. DO NOT roll the condom back off yourself !
Use a fresh condom for each sexual act. Also for longer sexual escapades, I suggest you change the condom to a fresh one, every 30-40 mins.

depending on where the patient gets their HIV tests done, all information is classified to that patient for every health center you go to except for one, which is AIM, adult film companies use that company, you go in, take the test, and anybody can look you up and see your HIV status, not only adult film companies.
