Oh my gosh.... so it's not just me... they may be common, I'm not sure, but that's good that it is not just me... I had a dream that I was really hungry for, like a granola bar or something, so I went to the kitchen and my mom was making beef.... and I was, like, ok, whatever, and then she stuffed I in my mouth... and then I woke up sweating...
Sorry, I just had to let that loose....
hope that helps that now you and I both know that we are not the only ones...

They are very common - they even had a name 'meatmares'.
I think meat is so pervasive in our society that when you are first quit eating it you are paranoid that you are going to eat it again accidentlly. I guess dreaming about it is showing you what it would feel like if it happened.
I never had them when I went vegetarian but when I went vegan I had them for a few months. As you get more confident in what you are doing more than likely they will go away.

I think I may have and was really pissed off. But the most common food one for me is bread. Because I can't have it. It'll land me in the hospital with the most excruciating pain ever. . .no joke - they tried to numb my intestines and it still didn't work. I was falling off the hospital bed squirming and screaming.
SO. . .to the point. . .I often dream that I have something like pizza or some sort of bready thing and start up in a mad panic because I know what's to come. . .
You can bet the relief when I wake up. :)

How interesting! I've never heard of that and I don't think I've experienced that myself.
I think it's normal...the brain stores a lot of information, including old lifestyles and habits. The information is up there somewhere and sometimes it comes out in our subconscious through our dreams.

except you have specific ideals which limit you from ingesting canine meat (e.g. Jews protecting nutritional rules, for whom canine meat would in all probability be 'unclean'), I see little subject with it. I even have little or no emotional attachment to canines. for sure it would be incorrect to consume canines that have been especially stored as pets or working canines, and that would in all probability look disrespectful to the two canine and proprietor. (different than in line with danger in circumstances of famine or different such emergency, the place it must be maximum appropriate to cannibalism.)

No, don't be so serious about it. The dreams show anxiety about what you eat!

Clinically such "dreams" are referred to as "flashbacks". They will pass and become less frequent. Or you will satisfy the subconscious element of your dream/flashback and return to a balanced diet that includes beef, poultry, fish, chicken, and seafood.

It's happened to me a few times. The idea that we dream about meat is so riGODDAMNEDdiculous. Does that mean we have a natural instinct to fall off of a cliff, be raped, or chased by monsters. *I think so*.
I wake up and I'm like OMG!!! OMG!!!!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!! WTF!!! WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
then I'm like, "oh".
