God is the ultimate judge and refuge for all, and He does not call upon nor pray to any others. But Jesus acknowledged that there was One whom he worshipped and to Whom he prayed when he said, "I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God." (John 20:17). He is also reported to have cried out while on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matt. 27:46). If Jesus were God, then couldn't this be read, "Myself, myself, why hast thou forsaken me?". Would that not be pure nonsense? When Jesus prayed the Lord's Prayer (Luke 11:2-4), was he praying to himself? When in the garden of Gethsemane he prayed, "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will but as thou wilt." (Matt. 26:36). Was Jesus praying to himself? That Jesus, of his own admission and by his own actions, acknowledged, worshipped, and prayed to another being as God is clear proof that Jesus himself is not God.

According to the Bible, God is an invisible spirit....

You are absolutely right about Jesus not being God. The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the Son of God. It would be like saying the Son is his own Father. The Son is created, the Father is not! The Bible teaches that there is one true God. Jesus himself showed us that he is not God when he said...

(John 17:3) “. . .This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”

Notice the word "AND" which clearly defines that the only true God, and Jesus are two separate individuals. The Scriptures that you used to show that Jesus is not God, are very good ones and really point this out!

Oh, gosh, so early in the morning here: 'worshiping' an invisible spirit, an old man in the sky. Quote, "God does not have a god but Jesus did have a God." Fact is, neither one did, nor does. The critters simply ain't, among all the rest of the thousands of gods that have wasted human time and enriched and empowered the 'rulers' on our pretty blue rock. It is a fairy tale and a rather silly one at the onset of the 21st century. Hey, we've walked on the blinking Moon, we're moving toward medical discovers that shall take away from us such pests as strokes, tumors, heart attacks, we're flying around the world, we're changing the size of the planet with computers and the Internet, we're opening the door to stem cell research, if not in the rightwing wacko USA then in Europe and Asia, we're probing DNA, etc., etc., etc. The time of the god of a Bronze Age tribe of murdering desert nomads is over and bloody (pardon me, my British cousins) well done with. Amen.

Hello and the main misuderstand is who The Bible says Jesus really is, In Hebrews 1:5-9 The Father Himself addressed Jesus as God, in Heb.13:8 we read Jesus has been for ever in the past presant and future, in John 8:58 we read Jesus is The I AM of Exodus 3, Moses and the burning bush, in Matthew 9 Jesus even forgave sin, a act ONLY God can do, in John 1 He is the one that created us in the first place, now lets go back to Gen.3:15 it was Jesus that told Adam and Eve that He would some day come and destroy the effects of sin and satan, it was He in Isaiah 53 [verse 2 but please read the whole chapter] that Jesus gave up His divine body to have one like ours and when He became A Man God The Father became His father, you see Jesus came to live like Adam should have and He did live without sin, but that did not subtract the fact Jesus was also God, Jesus said of Himself in John 14:9 that He and His Father are one, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless.

You are on the right road.

Next, you'll find the mistranslated verses Trinitarians use.

Next, you'll have an answer for all of the 31 misapplied or mistranslated verses used to support the trinity doctrine.

A doctrine that took almost 300 years and a lot of bloodshed to develop.

There is only One True God, who commands no other gods be put before him.

Yes,you are correct.Jesus is the only begotten Son of Almighty God,whose name is Jehovah.
The trinity doctrine is not a Bible teaching. It is a pagan teaching that had been fused into apostate Christianity in the 4th century CE

You are exactly correct.
God had no beginning and will have no end
Jesus had a beginning and must remain faithful so he will have no end
God is the father and no one has seen God at any time and lived
Jesus is his only begotten Archangel son Michael who became flesh as Jesus, ( Immanuel) and dwelt among us.
God's dwelling is the heavens
Jesus walked among men....as a man

jesus never said he was God, he said his Father in heaven was God and he was the (spirit) son of God...which means he existed in heaven with the Father in a son relationship before he came to earth..Jesus said the "Father is greater than I......"

God is King....Jesus is the prince....so as a king is royal, this royalty is shared with the prince.....even though the prince is royal, he is not the king....when we meet a prince, we treat him with the same respect we give the king, because of the relationship between the king and the prince, and since they are both royal.

.in the same way.....Father God is divine and he shares his divinity with his son, Jesus....Jesus is not the Father, but the son...and expects to be treated with the same respect as his father.

Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) was sent to the world to convey God's message, to call everyone to worship God alone. He never said 'worship me'. He said:
(Jesus the Messiah)(PBUH) said:"And verily God is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him Alone. That is the Straight Path"

There is only one true God. Jesus was fully human but He was also God. He is the God. He was an example here and the perfect teacher. He wanted to teach us how to have the personal relationship with God.

Jesus did not have God, He is God. Trinity is hard to understand. He is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. When Jesus was here, He was in human form.
