Karma is the result of our deeds n thoughts. Free will is what a human is born with. It is up to the person to employ his free will in doing what he desires and gather good or bad Karma as per his/her actions.

You know there's circumstances beyond your control (like, say, lightning strikes to name something that can affect you personally) as well as situations where you can make a choince.

Choose of your own free will, karma could come back to haunt you through circumstances beyond your control.

Karmas are done due to five reasons and free will is one of them ,due to which a person created different and new desires in his mind and hence does the karma accordingly to fullfil it
