if you like what he said then cool if not then oh well. the pope merely addressed his congregation with something requested from them. the same as any pastor would do for his congregation.

the reasons i agree with the pope and why i am roman catholic come from these sources(short listed)

the bible, the catechism and the writings of the early church fathers.

No they aren't the "only true church of Jesus Christ". I don't know of any church that can make that claim, and as far as I can tell the Pope won't be making that claim either.

According to the bible, the antichrist is the false apostle Paul and his followers as the protestant church ant its divisions. Paul killed thousands of Christians and he killed all Jesus’ disciples. The false apostle Paul admitted that he killed Jesus’ disciples in the book of Acts (8:1) (9:1). Paul abolished God’s Word entirely through his 14 epistles. Whosoever denies God’s Word is of the devil. It is either good or evil, or it is either with God or with the devil. The false apostle Paul established the christian religion, which is identified in modern days as “PAULINE” church.

Edit: Jesus never appeared to Paul, the testimony is false in the book of Acts. The book of Acts is written for Paul’s behalf only. Paul invented this book to elevate his Christian credibility sky-high.

Religion is not the way to God's kingdom, God's Word is the only way.

According to my studies, the Bible points to the Papal church as the 1st beast of Revelation13, The Antichrist system. Also backed up by the testimony of the reformers.

The Catholic Church doesn't claim to be the only true church (Vatican 2) It is however one of the oldest christian (Judea Christian) Churches, and as such has come through trials, tribulations and scandels and has grown and learned (and continues to learn) through her mistakes, this growing process is something some of the younger churches haven't gone through.

When sin occurs, it is through mans failings.

The Bible speaks of the majority not traveling along the straight and narrow path that leads to heaven.

Whether than majority is large or small, I do not concern myself with that.

The only True church is the Church of the Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster. I suggest you convert immediately if you want to be absolved of all your sins.

There is only one church, and that is made up of all the true believers... We comprise the Body of Christ, and it is not a matter of denomination... It is a matter of the heart... of which only God Himself can see into.

God Bless!
