I agree with much that you have said. And I certainly do not look down on you.
That said, I regularly attend church, because God wants us to meet with fellow believers in order to praise and worship Him, and also to help support and love one another. We are suppose to act like a family with fellow believers. It is sad that this is not always the case.
There are many who go to church because it is simply what they are taught to do, others who go to be seen, or do so out of a sense of duty.
When I go to church I truly worship the Lord. I listen to the scriptures, and the sermon that is preached. I also attend many social, volunteer, and learning activities with members of my church.
It seems like you may have to find a church where you can find a Christian family. That is not to say that all members will be active in the church. But you will probably find a core of members who are very Christ-like.
Remember the church is the people, the believers in Christ.
God Bless.

You can pray alone when you want to pray to God. Actually there is no such church where to pray. You can pray in your own room or in your own house. The building is not actually the church but it is a place for gathering to praise God and to pray all together in your group
The actual meaning of church in the bible are the groups of people who believe in God and in Jesus Christ and Jesus is the Head of that church but it is not the pastor or the priest.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 15:25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Place approved of God to meet with you. in the OT the Jews had to meet God in a specific place, It comes to God ruling your life and not you telling God when and where to worship. Lets all try it God's way ok John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Catholic and the protestant churches are in the same mess. Not even one church in this word obeys God’s Word in the Torah. The New Testaments is not a covenant; it is the history of Jesus’ gospel.

Ah! Yes this is one of the questions I asked when I was in a catholic grammar school that got me sent to the principals office. Seriously..
From what I was told by the head penguin err.. I mean nun, we have to go to church because it brings us closer to god. Of course I got in more trouble when I questioned her by asking If god is everywhere why couldn't I pray at home?
So you see from my experience it comes down to controlling people through use of religion and fear.
Edit:
Oops This was back in the 80's when I was in grammar school

The Bible encourages fellowship with other Christians. It doesn't say you have to go to church, though. Church is just one of the best places to have fellowship with other Christians.

If a person tells you going to any building is church they do not understand the Bible, I like the Bible definition much better myself; Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Many of the so called churches do not even know his name so how can they gather in his name, they get confused between one and three Gods. But the name a Christian is suppose to gather in is the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Acts4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
If a person tries to tell you going to church will get you in Heaven they do not know the Bible or the truth, salvation is ONLY in Jesus Christ not any church building.
The people following Moses never had a church building, they were wandering in the wilderness?
I can give a long list of people in the Bible that did not go to a church building because they either didn't have one or they were not accepted at church including Abraham the Father of Faith, King David a man after God's own heart, before he was crowned, and Jesus Christ could not go to any building because he was not accepted there and they were seeking to kill him if he showed up because he caused so much trouble preaching to them that would not believe the truth; John 7:25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
John 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Now in history this has always been true because God does never change; Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
but God is also binding the tares to be destroyed by the Angels and they will always quote to you to not forsake assembly not realizing what is going on in the last days people would feel rich but in truth they are blind; Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
God is outside the church so it is fitting for you to be outside the church; Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
God is moving back to Irsael and America will be doomed as a result of the fulness of the Gentiles.
Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Nowhere in Bible does it say you must attend church to be saved or go to Heaven because most all the Prophets did not go to any church;Romans 2:2God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
Also the 10 virgins only 5 were saved and the others were just religious and assumed you can buy God's grace with works; Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
The wise understood you cannot buy the Holy Spirit because it is the gift of God, but the religious virgins went to buy something that cannot be bought;Matthew 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Acts 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
You will find it always best to let the Bible answer your questions rather than opinions of men; Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
