john edwards IS a f-ag...she was just the only one who'd actually say it. haha.
besides she even apologized to all the gays..
"C'mon, it was a joke. I would never insult gays by suggesting that they are like John Edwards. That would be mean."

Ann Coulter doesn't really have a proper "job". People invite her to give speeches or come on their shows because she brings attentions - she generates ratings and interest.
Besides, you can't ban someone from TV or the Radio because they hurt people's feelings. Hurt feelings are the price of free speech. People who want to leverage the law against those who make them mad are childish and don't understand what government ought to be there for.
And most people don't understand what government ought to be there for.
You're also taking what Ann Coulter said out of context. She was responding to something someone else said - I believe Bill Maher, but I'm not sure - about how Dick Cheney needed to die. I might be wrong. Something along that line, though. She was pointing out how liberals can get away with expressing these feelings, but conservatives can't. Then she said, just to be fair... someone ought to say that John Edwards should be killed by a terrorist.
She should have called him weak and two-faced.
But whatever.
For the record, I think Ann Coulter is an hysterical windbag. I just think she has a right to consider John Edwards to be a douche bag.
Long live the Republic,
Lazarus

The people that watch her expect crap like that anyway so she can get away with it. Kinda like Pat Robertson constantly say this person should die or that person will be doomed. It is just what the audience expects and everyone else just writes them off. I know idea why there was such a huge thing about Imus because his statement wasn't that racist since he had just called another female, prodominantly African American basketball lovely or something like that.

Well, it's not slander - that's for sure - and it probably falls within the limits of satire. I think the real reason is that everybody is afraid of Ann, and intimidated by her manhood.
