he has this ridiculous 77,000 dollar limit on his amex and i tell him they would not let him spend it even if he wanted.. he disagrees.. i tell him you spend about a thousand monthly and then pay it all off everymonth.. they would never let him charge that money just because the limit is there.. i hopefully wanna prove him wrong print out your responses and paste them on his forhead.. haha.. What do ya think?

This is not a charge card. its a CC.. it has a limit.. won't they stop a very large transaction.. or a bunch of small ones..

Sorry, but I'm afraid you are wrong. If he were to buy a luxury car, for example, he could charge it on the card. The only problem is that he would have to pay Amex the full amount at the end of the month!

you are sooooo wrong...

Your friend can spend up to the 77,000 limit in a single day it he decided to. You think a credit card company cares if you are impossibly in debt to them? Think again.
