me and my friend are going pro but we want my dad to be our manager....i really need info on how he can be a boxing manager or get us some fights

I'm pretty sure that each state has it's own boxing authority. Since I don't know your state, why don't you contact your state assembly[wo]man or state senator and ask them whom to contact.

Your father probably has to get a license to manage and you need one to box.

For example, the NY State Athletic Commission oversees boxing in NY State. Read the site below and see if it has any useful information.

Remember, each state has different requirements.

Brother, don't mess around with politicians and state commissions, trust me, they don't want to hear from you. Ask somebody that's been there. My friend and former three time world champ Tony Lopez loves to give guys like you advice. Catch him on a slow day and he'll do that. His dad was his trainer and manager and his brother was his cut man. Call Tony the tiger bails bond in Sacramento California and see if he's got the time. Just keep it real and professional. If he's not there, then get his email address, that may be a better method any ways. He's a really nice guy so it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. It's true, each state is different. Good Luck!
