Most helicopters cannot, because it would put too much torque on the main rotor assembly. There are few exceptions, and I can give you one......

The AH-64 Apache assault helicopter. The helicopter actually has a brace that supports the main rotor assembly which allows the pilot to fly the helicopter in maneuvers that most helicopters could not do. And one of them is a "loop".

Hope this helps you.

The first helicopter to demonstrate a loop was the Hughes 500. It could also approach a straight up cliff and go straight up, nose first, for a short time.
The video referenced is not a loop, but a torque roll. because direction was reversed. A 360 loop would put you at the same altitude and heading as before.
Must not be many helo pilots here, because the torque roll is a common maneuver with crop dusters who use helicopters. It allows you to change directions with out using up half the sky. I have been told the dusters set a cup of coffee on the glareshield and do a torque roll and not spill the coffee. It must be an exactly 1G manuever or the coffee would spill, so no stress will be put on the craft in that maneuver.
A real loop by a Bell 407 can be viewed here:

Yes and No, It depends on the helicopter. If the helicopter has a rigid rotor system such as the BO-105 then yes. Most helicopters have a semi-rigid or a fully articulated rotor system which does not allow them to do a loopdeloop. If you go onto yourtube and search for a BO-105 owned by Red Bull you can see the pilot do a loop.

Depends on the helicopter and the pilot. I'd like to see it done from a distance though!

depends on the chopper. example: for evasive maneuvers, the apache longbow has to do a loop and dispense anti heat-seeking missile flares. I don't advise you to do it in ALL helicopters.

Yes, depending on how fast and how powerful the helicopter is. If it is high enough in the air, and has enoguh time to flip back over.

just watch this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53y8An1zAsc&mode=related&search=

most can't but i know the apache attack helicopter can. because of it's mast and the lightweight materials and body design. most choppers would stall out and crash if u tried it. thats what makes the apache such a fierce and agile weapon.

Not sure if all of them can, but I saw a British military chopper do a full loop.
