HOW DO YOU LIVE?

For those who may not understand what was said about choice, NO ONE CAN CHOSE LIFE, EITHER YOUR ARE BORN OR YOU ARE NOT. YOU don't chose. If you are born the choice is already made. YOU didn't make it. It's what you do with it!!

The proposition still works without reference to God.

I quite like Captain Kirk's philosophy and recipe for peace:
"We're human beings, with the blood of a million savage years on our hands. But we can stop it! We can admit we're killers, but we're not going to kill today. That's all it takes. Knowing that you're not going to kill... today."

It's OK, I don't take all, or *any* more of my philosophy from Star Trek, but that did spark a certain resonance.

So I live each day knowing I have a choice, and choices.
And that my instincts are far from perfectly civilized.

perhaps, you should read this..

The purpose of life is goodness which God has prepared, as what is written in Ephesians 2:10-- "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, wchich God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Our life was meant to do good and to be partakers in the goodness which GOD has prepared. Life given by God is very valuable and should be used in accordance with the intent of the Creator. Let us read Ecclesistes 12:13--

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

If there is a meaningful end for our lives it must end in fearing the Lord and keeping His commandments, for that is our whole duty as man. Living in a life in accordance with God's will is living a life fearing Him and obeying His commandments.

Well, I would say that is between each individual and God. Man cannot determine how or if someone does or how they choose.
