I'm thinking of October. Not too warm and not quite cool in most of the cities we would think of to get married.

Depends on where you live. If you live somewhere that gets snow in the winter, you might want a spring or fall wedding. If you live somewhere that gets really humid, you might want to pick months when the weather is conducive for a wedding. If you live somewhere where the weather is great most of the year, than you can pick any time you want. I got married in late January. I live in California and the weather was perfect. It just depends on how big a wedding you want and the time it takes to plan one. If you haven't set a date, you should pick at least a year away. It takes that long to plan a big wedding. If you're not having that big a wedding, you can get away with 6 months away. You can also plan your wedding at a time when there are not a lot of family birthdays, or holidays. Good luck!

OCTOBER (why is caps lock on?) Ohh.. October bcause it has many yellows and oranges and pumpkins and the wedding can be outside under trees that have changing leaves with pumkin accents here and there. Your dress can be like pumpkin pie color and you could serve pumpkin pie instead of cake and your groom can be in a white tux with a pupmkin pie colored tie and find color coordianting things to the fall and pumpkins and have a cool wedding, Or you can do the halloween thing and have a mask party but only as a wedding. Dress up for all hallows eve and have fun with it... Have pumpkin sencted candels hidden so it can smell the theme. OOOhh I want pumpkin pie now.

i think right in summer might be too warm, I would go with September or May??
Well I got married in March in New Zealand, and as there seasons are kind of switched (at least for us from the Northern hemisphere) I got both married in Spring and Autums ;)

I got married in September, and I think that's a really nice month to get married. It's still very mild all over the US (if that's where you are) and generally a very pretty time to get married.

get married in the fall. that way it's not to hot not to cold. you can take advantage of the changing colors of foliage to be a back drop for a reception/ceremony/or just for pictures.
you can incorporate it in to your invitations. colors and centerpieces.
and the nights will lend well to receptions too- no bugs out like in the summer

Autumn (you might call it Fall) or Spring is nice.
Autumn (Fall) - The leaves are falling & would look great in the photos.
Spring - All the beautiful flowers are out.
