make the scalp more noticeable or am i noticing that my hair is thinner due to way too much dye?....yes i no longer dying my hair ..i am going to let it all grow out

yes your scalp is way more noticeable when it has been dyed dark. I kept my hair dyed black for like 3 years so I know all about it. Also, your scalp gets the least amount of sun because it is covered in hair!

I am not sure what you mean by a "more noticable" scalp but it would make sense that it would be more easily seen since the scalp is light and the hair is dark. The contrast would make it easier to see. Is that what you mean?

Or, indeed your hair could be getting thinner due to overprocessing of the hair and the breakage that may occur.
If you are coloring it yourself then the products will probably create more damage than if a licensed trained stylist did it for you.
