tmi means Too Much Information, as in, I didn't need to know about your nasty toenail infection, that's TMI.

Unless you work for NASA, in which case it means Trans Mars Injection.

LOL means laugh out loud, or lots of laughs, or someone was too lazy to write that's funny.

I don't know about this OTP thing either... Maybe it means off the point.
