Lauren, have you sat down with your father and stepmom and tried to talk out your feelings? It might help them to understand your needs a bit more. You don't like Jay picking on you, that's alright, nobody likes to be picked on. Talk to him about it. He might be acting out a bit because he feels uncomfortable as well. It also seems that you are now the middle child. Are you concerned that you won't get as much love as you once did from your father and stepmom? If so tell them about it. I know that this is new and scary to a point, but all you can do is try to communicate with your parents and your siblings. Try to make the best of it Lauren!

Maybe they feel the same about you? It must be hard for Diana and Jay too to have THREE more siblings! You can't do anything about it so it's best to look on the positive side and see the advantages of having another brother and sister. The five of you make quite a team! It's also very hard on your dad if you don't all get on isn't it? It might spoil their marraige too, so do all you can to get on together. Ask Jay why he does what he does. Talk to him, be a friend. Remember that in a few years you'll be old enough to do what you like and move out if you want, but for now, make the most of it, enjoy your youth.

They are married, and thats not going to change, and those kids are not going anywhere. If I were you, I would just accept Jay into the family. If you don't give a bully a reaction he is looking for, chances are he will go for another target. But if you are still having serious issues, talk to your stepmom or your dad, and they will help you out. Just thinking but maybe he thinks your pretty but your his stepsister so you can't be together. Just a thought. Good Luck!â¥

That is life. I have three brothers and they all pulled pranks on me.
What worked for me, is ignoring them...it is hard but if you ignore them (and it many take several times) -- it will stop. He know that he can push your buttons so he will keep doing it. But if you ignore, he will get bored and hopefully stop. If not, talk to your dad.
Good luck

I've experienced similar but just give it some time. Maybe he feels like that too and when you're scared or something, you do stuff that can be annoying.
