I have a bunch of songs but sometimes one of them is really loud and the next on is too low, does anybody know a good FREE program, that I could use to make them all the same volume??

Use Nero to burn your songs and you have the option to normalize all the audio files to the same levels

Sorry you may be wasting your time.
Each song that is recorded is mastered by a different engineer, and each one have there own idea as to how there volume needs to be set. That is the reson that you may get different sound levels from different recordings, and different sources as well.
