I'm just curious if all the subway lines are full of people...
Which line is less crowded? Which line is better than the other?

Like someone here said....during the Morning and Afternoon rush hour.....Subway is jam packed......They are serving millions of people of day......

Rush hour is worse in the summer because ventilation at the actual subway station is horrible....and once your in the train.....everyone is squished in....so it becomes very muggy.

I have missed trains because people can't fit in....but I usually have a trick around that.....some people leave the edges of the platform wide open.....so...when I find those gaps....I go into them when the train is arriving....Its very dangerous but I been doing this since I was 7 or 8 yrs old....

I would say the less crowded train would be the G train....Its the only train that does not serve Manhatten.....it just serves Queens and Brooklyn.......it is used by many people....but not as much as the others......

STAY AWAY FROM THE SUBWAYS DURING HOURS!! Otherwise you'll regret it.

The 4,5,6 are the busiest subway lines and they are VERY crowded during rush hour. All the other lines are too but not as crowded as those 3 trains. When it's not rush hour the subways are only like half full.

The trains are crowded during rush hour.

As far as which line is better than the other, the best line is the one that takes you from where your are, to where you want to go. To find that out, go to hopstop.com or the subway map.

The NYC subway system serves appox. 5 million people a day. The three busiest lines in my opinion are the 4,5,6 and 7 trains. The least busiest is the G train.

You'll find monday-saturday full of people. But monday-thursday during night time, not so much, and the subways seem empty on most Sundays. Of course, Ive only taken the 33rd and world trade paths, from and to NJ, I cant speak for the rest.

The A train...man, that train during rush hour is almost impossible to get in.

A lot of times, I had to wait for at least 3 trains to pass by until I could finally get into one. And even then, it was full. Don't expect to get a seat--unless you're aggressive, but even then, there are some people will will almost give up their lives for a seat (it's kinda scary actually).

Hopefully, you wont get squashed by two fat ladies while your standing on the train, barely holding on. It's happened to me a lot of times, and it brings back some quite disturbing memories...O_O

During rush hour buses and subways are extremely crowded. There were many times when I missed my stop cause I couldn't get through to the door to exit.

rather than seeking a less-crowded line, try to travel during off-hours.
