I need advice on the best way to act on this situation. Me and this guy, we are like best friends. We did hook up once, and we both have really strong feelings for each other. However, he has made no inclination that he wants to start a relationship, and that is what im looking for right now. I feel wrong just hooking up with this guy every so often as opposed to having a real relationship with someone. Should i stick with this guy or just leave him?

Remember communication is the key to solving all problems. Talk to him, it's the best thing you can ever do. Ask him what he really feels about you. I think you should just tell him, that you don't want a random hookup, and that you want something more real and formal. Offer your feelings to him & so on. If he doesn't want a real thing with you, then it's time you move on sweetie, because you can't be using each other like this, and not have something to back it up.

Good Luck.!

If you want more then he does then you should move on and find someone that wants what you want !!! A real relationship!! Ever so often doesnt' sound right to me!?? What? Just when he wants to hook up with you ? I don't think sooo!!! If he wanted to be with you he would be with you everyday!!! And he would tell you sooo if he really liked you alot!!! He wouldn't take a chance that you might find someone else when he's not around, beleive me!!!! If your having sex with him in this every once-in -a-while- thing then, I 'd say he is using you big time!!!!

in this situation u'd stay with him as friends with benefits, but it is not what u want, so therefore talk to him since he is ur best friend. ask him how does he feels, and what his intensions are, to be friends with benefits or start going out(give chance to relationship), based on his answers draw conclusion. If his answers would not be clear, as " ohhh lets go with the flow" or """'''let time to deside" or """ see what happens" .........well than this guy does not want relationship, or does not know what he wants or he thinks there might be better fit around there corner...........than if u've feeling for him better bet would be to take break from this guy

I say let him know exactly how you feel you have to look at it this way life is way to short to be left wondering if you let the right one go and besides talking to him about things is the only way you are going to find out for sure if he does feel the same for you good luck

next time he wants some free milk and meat explain to him you can't do that anymore because you want to: find someone to enter into a steady relationship and continuing with him would be unfair to all concerned. if he tells you he is it. you are home free with him.

let him know you really like him and would like him to be your boy friend but it seems as if he wants no part of you except., the hook up.

if he does not grab the opportunity its time to move on.

be certain to give him time to express himself to you. about a week or two.

if he says nothing but gets mad you know its time to move on.

Leave him. You cannot make a person do what they do not want to do
