The only way to get rid of OCD is to find out what is causing it. There is always an underlying issue behind OCD. Contact a professional who is knowledgeable about this subject. It's almost always some type of control issue.

OCD does not respond well to self help treatment.

As others have stated, it's clearly more case of paranoia than OCD. OCD is often a more complicated fear, like: if I don't take exactly three pieces of toilet paper then something bad might happen. What you're feeling is most likely a paranoia stemming from some strong social anxiety. Talk to your doctor about it, there's some therapies and medications that could make your life a lot better.

OCD never just "goes away". You can help treat it and make it so it's not as bad. But it's not curable. I should know, I've had severe ocd all my life and it affects my life in so many different ways. Most days I don't even go out of the house because my obsessions get in the way of everything. Try therapy or behavior therapy. You can also try medicines, But I don't like meds cause you never know if they'll cause something bad later on like cancer. Hope you're able to treat your ocd!

If you go to http://www.ocfoundation.org/ , they should be able to give you information and resources to get help. Taking medication for me helped because it lessened the symptoms and made it seem like there was a way to overcome some of the obsessions. Therapy for me is difficult because I have relied on the compulsions my whole life. Hope this helps.

I would also say it's better to go find professional help, please talk with your GP. It can be far easier with someone helping you directly.
