This is way to long to explain in detail. But my friend who I like asked me out to the water park, her, her cuz and the driver. The car broke down. We found a mech he didn’t charge us but my friend and the driver gave him 10 each. On the way back home. The driver paid for antifreeze ($10). The car broke down again, and a guy helped us out so I gave, and my friend and her cuz gave 4 each. So it broke down again and the drivers parents came to pick us up, and I didn’t even get a ride home, but my friend gave me a 5. the day sucked for me because I felt like nobody was listening to me when they asked me for advice, and I proved I was right with the directions and fixing the car. I also felt my friends cuz was telling me to pay for everything and having an attiudue with it. Because at the end of the day (not counting my taxi home) I spent $32 for gas, tolls, and that guy, her cuz still asked me for a $5, and I don’t know y. so who Is right, and how can I settle this?

Don't worry about it, you're not talking about so much money (and it is a bit confusing) plus, when you are out with friends and driving is someone else's car, that is what happens, it's not even, but really the passengers should owe more than the driver. You know, you are driving in their car, they are paying the insurance, the car note, they are physically driving, so that's what it is. Don't sweat the small stuff.

you were asked to the water park and I'm assuming you paid your way and even paid to help get the car fixed, so you did your duty i don't think you shouldve had to give the driver 5 bucks you didn't even get a ride home so you got the raw end of the deal and i think by all rights the car is the owners responsibility not yours

sounds like you need some new friends! They invited you, therefore you are their guest, just like if you were at there house!! You are NOT responcible for their broke down car, now that being said, if you wanted to be nice and donate to the cause, then thats okay, they should not expect it. Not giving you a ride was cold!! like I said, get some new friends!! good luck!!!

Sounds like next time it would be cheaper to just take a cab to and from the water park. And you'd have a better time.
Don't give any more. Don't ask for any back. Let it go, and learn from the experience.

seriously bro, if they're making you pay for everything, no disrepect but they're just using you. They asked you to go, pretty much all you had to do is pay for your own end, if you invite them then it'll be the other way around. Thing is, the other guy would have to pay part of it, as far as I can see it, it's a set up, and they own you some money.
