I just think if people need to be convinced of the facts then it should be the facts that are presented and not the schewed opinion of any particular group.
If you know what I mean.

The whole cow thing started as a joke by scientists at a conference--somebody gave a mock "presentation" claiming cow farts (methane) was causing global warming.

The really funny part is that the "skeptics" are so ignorant of the facts, they didn't know it was a joke and took it seriously. LMAO!

At aboriginal times in the US the American Buffalo had an estimated population of 58 million. Being aboriginal we can assume the population to stable based on conventional historical belief. Now we can compare that to an estimated 100 million and growing cattle population to day in the US. All of this means there considerably more farts in the air now days.

The fart factor can also be looked at as a controllable emissions source and there for it must be considered in the over all human emissions foot print.

It is also important to note that while methane is not the main cause of global warming. How ever its effect is 25 times more potent then CO2. It is also worth noting that methane breaks down ten times faster in the atmosphere than CO2. That means reducing methane a.k.a. (cow farts) is the most immediate way of slowing down global warming.

People actually got mad at me when I laughed about cows creating greenhouse gasses. At the time I thought nobody in their right mind could possibly take it seriously, but they do! I learned a new way to start arguments with college students.

Because buffalo belonged to the land. Cows belong to people. People have money. People can be made to give up their money to continue having cows.

Everybody is to blame for this problem, so everybody must pay.

Almighty Gore has deemed it so.
