How long do you have to wait to get a tattoo after coming off Accutane?

I have heard many answers from 6 months to 3 years. Does anyone know the correct amount of time recomended?

The correct amount of time is the time your dermatologist tells you. Seriously. FYI, I will not let anyone in my studio tattoo someone who has been on Accutane until they have been off of it for a full year, based on what I was told by a prominent dermatologist.
