I live three hours away from the nearest hospital for animals, so I can't afford a bundle for the vets or a bundle for gas as far as my money goes, but my cat... My best mouser in fact, keeps moaning. I think he's in pain. He has been vomiting and panting. He looks bloated, and he won't let me touch him. He has this occur monthly and then it will go away. I don't know what could possibly be wrong. The vomit is clear and I don't think that he could be dehydrated. I"m thinking he could have a painful parasite of some kind that is slowly eating him inside out, as it did for about four of our chickens. Although that is the best thing I can possibly think of . Don't let that influence your prediction though. I don't know how to help him. In fact, financially I can't, so can anyone tell me what is wrong and can help me? Thank you!

Please don't tell me to take him to a vet. I cannot do that, it will cost a fortune, when I am not even sure that he can be cured. I am three hours away from the nearet place, and the people there are jerks. I'd rather not. I have no time or money or even gas for that matter. I don't want him to suffer, but if you suggestions can't help, then he will have to be put out of his misery (and I don't want to give him the quick gun death, or any death... really!) Although, I think that it could be are crop poisen, that the farm sprayer has been applied to our field. The world needs their food... bug free food. That is probably why he could be sick. Although, I don't know for sure what it could be. I need home remedies, because I am a busy cow herder who has to keep the cows in order and help my husband with the crops. I'm very busy. I hate to see him suffering, but taking him to the vet is out of the question. Please, please, please understand! I'm not a cruel pet abuser, but a busy farmer!

Is is possible that it is just a hair ball? My cat gets those and he gets pretty sick before he finally brings it up. I would try feeding him oily fish food...something like that will help to bring it up.
Gosh I hope he is OK.... I guess if it is a parasite it would only be able to be cured by a vet. I am so sorry that I cannot be of better help to you.
Best of luck

This does not sound good..sounds like he is a sick cat...and the only way you are going to know for sure what is wrong with him is to take him to the vet. Call your vet and ask about a payment plan if it really is going to cost a lot. Let the vet know right when you walk in that you do not have a lot of money. If this has been going on for a while..you should have saved up some money by now to take him in...you are making him suffer by NOT taking him to the vet. Even if someone could diagnose him over the computer...he would still need treatment from a vet which will still cost you money....get him to the vet ASAP...it is your ONLY option.

He could have bladder stones, and passing them is very painful. If he's bloated,it could be his bladder, which can burst if the stones block his urinary tract. If you can't take care of him, then you should try and call a shelter where they will treat him and find him a new home with people who can afford to treat him and feed him a special diet.On the other hand,he could have a heavy load of parasites, which are causing intestinal problems. The only way to find out is to go to a vet.If you can afford the Internet, then you can afford a vet.I know, because I am POOR,but I have a very good relationship with and am well established at my vet,so if one of my animals gets sick,I can make payments.Just put yourself in the cat's place - how would you feel if you were sick and in pain, but no one would take you to a doctor? Don't let the cat suffer. It would be better off put to sleep if you're just going to let it keep suffering. In your profile, you say you beleive in being Christ - like.Do you think that He would let that cat suffer like that? If you have to,sell something to take it to the vet.

If you want real vets, go here:
www.purinaone.co.nz/vet/default.aspx

Be careful asking for a vet here, one person I have already checked, and there's no way a vet could spell that badly, or have their taste in music, you can tell they're not out of school yet. Be careful.

No, I am not a vet, but the folks on the other side of that link most certainly are, best ask them.

The best help you can give this cat is to get it to a vet. If he is vomiting chronically, he certainly could be getting dehydrated. There are tons of health problems that can cause vomiting, including heartworms in cats. It is not fair to the cat to continue to let it suffer.

look around, is there something that is happening on a monthly basis? maybe the neighbor is treating the lawn with chemical fertilizer every month- its toxic and can make a cat sick- find out the schedule for this reoccurring illness and try to confine your cat until the danger has passed.

sounds to me like he is bleeding internally (caused from something that got a hold of him) but on something like this, the best bet; honestly is to take him to the vet. some people can claim "expert" all they want but it is not always true.
