We do not think he is God, nor is he better then us. He is like the president of the church only we do not get to vote. Everything needs order that includes ORGANIZED religion.

Do they really think we worship the Pope?
They have got to be pulling our leg's on this one.

No one is going to worship the Pope, guys he is just a man.
(He is NOT God) that is like saying that you guys worship Billy Gram (which DUH you don't, he is just a man too)
This is just silly, I guess next every one will be saying Catholics worship President Bush.

one thing i find beautiful is that even the pope must confess to another bishop, i wonder how many of our seperated brothers and sisters in christ were aware of this?

The only thing remotely close to this is when the Pope Speaks ex Cathedra. It's not that he's speaking for God, but that whatever he says ex Cathedra God will stop him from saying something false.

Well, technically when he is speaking ex cathedra the pope's word IS god's word. So i suppose one could make an argument based on the whole "divine revelations/papal infallability" thing, but it would be a little bit of a stretch.

I've got you on this one. I can name the ONE Catholic that everyone knows. The Pope is the one who is calling himself God when he claims to be the head of the Christian Church! The Bible clearly states that Christ Jesus is the head of the Church. When he says he is head of the Church, the Pope is falsely claiming the position that is held by the Son of God, the one who said “I and the Father are one”.
In fact, the word Christian means Follower of Christ. In order to be a Follower of Christ, you need to acknowledge him as the Head of the Church because that's what is taught in the Bible. If you believe that the Pope is the head of the Church, then by definition you are not a Christian.
The good news is that you can repent and become a Christian if you rightfully acknowledge Christ Jesus as the head of the Church and follow him instead of following the Pope.
