He wants to wait for at least 3 years so that we are stable, but the longer time goes on, the more things he wants. I don't know if he really wants kids because when we first got together, he said that he didn't want any when I said that I did. I would never pull an accident on him because I don't want that kind of hurt to be from me and I would feel like I violated a trust between us.

Enjoy your time together before you have kids. Trust me, if you have kids right away especially if the other wants to wait it will cause conflicts in the marriage. Try big brothers big sisters, you have to commit to an hour a week. You either go to a community site or pick the child up from their home and take them somewhere fun. They have an opportunity for couples to have a little brother or sister. You could use it as practice, and maybe it will change your husbands mind about having your own. Good luck in whatever you do!

wait. its worth it. Enjoy a life being just a couple for a while, and the baby will come at a more realxed time in the marrage. Adjusting to being married is a big thing, espcally for guys, nd a baby will add alot of stress. Besides, you can;t force him into it unless you "accidentally" forget birth control, and that lying!!! Do you want to start family based on a lie?

well it deoends on why he wants to wait.
if it is because he wants be more financially stable, trying to have a baby now will add more pressure to him and he will resent you later.
if he doesn't have a really good reason, did you know he felt this way before you got married?
but if it's a new marriage, maybe he's adjudting, give him time. see if you can compromise a year

How long does he want to wait? Just tell him you'd like to start now. Maybe compromise on one year. If you've been living together for a few years, waiting seems unnecessary, but of course you want him on board for that.
