for the bad press and the hundreds of millions paid out for sex scandals?

Will they allow Priests to marry? Business as usual? Restructuring? Women in the priesthood?

I believe it will result in better priests overall. Candidates will be held to a higher standard and will receive a higher quality formation.

Formation was truly horrible after Vatican II. I have a copy of a moral theology textbook that was published in 1976 and used in Catholic seminaries. This was actually taught to men studying for the priesthood:

The sins of a few priests, for which the Church has made such settlements (to both actual victims and to many who have claimed to be victims without verification of any kind) has no effect on the Church's doctrine or practices. The two are completely unrelated. Why would the Church allow priests to marry because a handful of priests are homosexuals?? Where's the connection? Women priests is not even a point of discussion and never will be. It is impossible. Yes, business as usual - the business of leading souls to Christ and to salvation, by preaching the fullness of truth and providing the holy sacraments. That is the "business" for which Jesus Christ founded the Holy Catholic Church.

In the Catholic Church priests do not get married. I don't know what will happen in the future, it's not my place to say.
Women can't be in the priesthood, that is a mans job, but women can do other things in the church.

Deacons (spelling) can be married and have kids.

The problem is not celibate priests. Most child molesters are married men.

The end result will be the closing of schools, homeless shelters, hospital, clinics, and other social service organizations operated by the Catholic Church to help pay these settlements.

He cut funding to amnest int. because they advocated abortions for African women who had been raped, I'm not pro abortion myself but in that case its fair enough and even if I still disagreed I wouldn't take any money from a fantastic charity organisation. The guy is a disgrace and won't change anything except alienating more catholics.
