Im 17 years old and my weight varies, anything from 215 to 250 because i play football as an offensive lineman, i want to get a tattoo on my right shoulder next to the tricep but im scared it will stretch because im constantly lifting weights, my second idea for a tat is on my back, is there a risk for stretching on my right shoulder?

It shouldn't . I have a friend who has a tattoo on the side of her belly and it was perfectly fine after two pregnancies. I agree ask the artist.

They can, but they do not always stretch. I have been getting tattoos for 10 years and I was a lot smaller when I started. NONE of mine have 'stretched'. It all depends on the person.

well one... you cant get a tatoo until your 18 and you should really wait the longer the better... that is also a big wight difference your best bet is to get it somewhere that wont stretch due to lifting ...i you guess back if it isnt going to get to big.. or your thigh maybe

make sure it is something you want... it will be there forever

yes it will stretch and look like an ink stain. then when you get old it will be an old discolored piece of skin on your body. you will spend lots of $$$$$$$$$4 to have it removed.
