When does the ski season begin in Whistler, British Columbia? Is mid-November too early?

You could get lucky in mid november but on the other hand you could end up with no snow at all. It all depends on the weather gods and the luck of the Draw. Prey for snow.

Yes. It is too early. If I recall right, they opened November 20th last year. And if there was no snow it would have been postponed.

But, on the other hand, if you do manage to coordinate the first day of opening and the weather cooperates, it could be one of the best days to go.

Edit: Looks like it opened Nov 18 last year. It was a Saturday. The similar Saturday this year would be Nov 15, but it hasn't been announced yet.
