"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." -- Acts 1:8 KJV
The Holy Ghost equips us with the power & authority to put His Word in action, into witnessing. He never meant for us to be pew potatoes, or lukewarm Christians, stopping at our own salvation foothold and never growing in Christ. The Holy Ghost opens our spiritual eyes to see the true condition of the world and its inhabitants - it is not as pleasant as it seems to the flesh, for the flesh is convinced that a spiritual train wreck is not about to happen. We are therefore the "laborers" of the harvest, the few who God has empowered to lead people to Christ (Matthew 9:35-38). Who else is going to testify? What good is our salt if its not shaken?
There is truly no harm in witnessing. It is a win-win situation for God and man. We all have won already. We just have to claim our free reward. The flesh will always react in offense, and this is exactly how the adversary wants it. I sense it very strongly here.
God is smiling at you. I am sure you already know. Many Blessings and Annointing are coming your way! God Bless brother!

No, JWs do no longer believe the trinity which claims that Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all God (3 gods that are a million god). That Jesus is Michael the Archangel is honestly documented in Christendom's references. IT originates with mainline church homes, no longer devil worshippers....i replaced into raised by using a preacher dad and have a seminary degree additionally. I knew that he replaced into previously looking JWs. Christendom additionally believes between the three angels that visited Abraham (previously 2 headed directly to lot) replaced into God (some say all 3 have been God, the trinity on earth). So in the event that they suspect that Jehovah can come to earth as a trifling angel of hassle-free type or be a guy, they'd desire to have no difficulty grasping that he would properly be the archangel (maximum rank in cost of all the others). guy's religions are in basic terms dumb and illogical.....of course, including a 4th, 5th, and so on. call to God blows the tri (3) inity theory. God says if we dont tell them, how will they know. He commands us to live truth and speak truth. IT doesnt matter if we are popular or not. We are to warn them and speak truth to them. Yet many will mock us and hate us as they do Jesus, but that never stops a true Christian. we give truth because we love them and God does too and He commanded us to warn them, not an option not to folks.
Some o fyou will hear and many will be not, BUt you will have been told and you cant plead ignorance on judgment day. YOu will try to say, why didnt you tell me? ANd God will say I did, over and over and over again. what you say here is truth, no need to repeat it, but those of us that truly love God will continue to live truth and speak it, no matter what, till Jesus comes again. and we pray some will hear and receive. All have equal opportunity to learn and if they dont, its not Gods fault or ours, its only theirs. all we can do is do our best, and those that wont receive, we leave to God. How anyone could risk hell is amazing> I coulndt even risk losing a hundred dollars and no I dont believe in gambling. But, this is a gamble for eternal life. I would know i would have to study and find out for myself the truth before I could so easily reject it. I would study with a strong Christian and see whats up with all this, I would have to know. But, if they want to risk hell, then thats their choice. God gives us choice, so its really their choice where they end up. If they wont know GOd, they cant blame Him and they cant be in heaven, or they would make it just like they make it here.
Just pray, keep speaking truth and living it. God bless you child. of God.

Stealing is a bad and I've done it when I was five, but I was a kid who didn't know any better. I'm not going to hell for that. I believe in god. He forgives me for the sins that I have done. I understand what could happen when I die, but we don't really have proof that there is an after life. people may come back to life when they were dead and they might have said they saw thier family, but how are you sure they are telling the truth to you. I believe in god and heaven and hell but that does not stop me from saying what I want and doing what I want.

Most of them were sold a bill of goods as kids, and they have never learned to analyse the nonsense that they were taught. For some, it makes them think they may be right if they can just find somebody else who will believe their nonsense. Please tell me, why in heck would you care whether I go to Hell? If it exists, it may be a wonderful place
Likewise, if Heaven exists, it may be a terrible place. Better go there and see what these places are really like, before you wish them on innocent people. (If you can find them - lol.)

We witness b/c we have something that can save the world.
Unlike a lot of ppl on Yahoo! Answers i'm going to heaven b/c I have excepted Jesus Christ as my savior.
I share the good news with everyone as much as i can. but i'm not a "bible beater." I just stand up for what i believe in. there is a way to be a witness w/o being pushy and obnoxious. That's the better way to go at it. you don't have to shove it down ppls throats.. that usually turns them off. you have to be reasonable about it. make ppl wanna listen. :)
that's my 2 cents.

There is no way you could "keep this great God to ourselves" because God doesn't belong to just one religion. In fact God doesn't belong to any religious affiliation at all! So don't worry---we all can reach God -- even if we don't have a church label attached to us!

And I hate to let you follow mythology. That is why I keep stressing to you, You are wrong. If you are following jesus, you are following a fictional idea. I feel bad that people live their lives without being accountable to themselves. When good things happen, god did it. Give yourself some credit.

What I don't understand is why Christians won't go away when they are asked to. I don't want to be saved and I don't want to be preached to. Why is it that Christians who are witnessing won't shut up? I still have the right to choose, don't I? If I choose not to follow Jesus, what business is that of yours?
