Any religion is mostly about faith. You may even need to go through a period of time of not believing in him, or anything. I believe each person needs to trust their own judgement and heart in this type of personal journey.
Ask yourself; why do you need proof he is real? What if there is no god? How could this effect your life? What are your expectations on faith, God, and religion as a whole?
Perhaps you're expecting a burning bush when you're getting only a beautiful sunset instead.

How do I know that you are real. How do you know that I am real. For all that either of us know we both may be figments of the other persons imagination. All we see is what the other is doing and see what the other has to say. I cannot see, smell or touch you, and you cannot do the same to me. But does that mean that neither of us exist to the other person? Indeed not. We have faith and believe that the other exists. That is how it is with God. He has given us a measure of faith. Faith being the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. If you have sought the Lord to show Himself as real to you then He has, but you have not seen it yet. Why? I do not know. Maybe because you have been busy, or maybe because you haven't looked in the right places, or maybe God hasn't shown Himself to yet because it isn't the right time. His timing is perfect, remember that. But the Bible says that if we seek we WILL find. Now go and have faith that our God exists. Do not be disheartened that God has not shown Himself to you, He will in His perfect time. When He does if you are truly watching you will know. I am praying for you and I hope that you will not drop a God so easily when He has done so much to see you saved.

Hello, Takashi:
God is truly real, and He is still working in your life, otherwise you would not know you are amiss.
God never forsakes us, and even though we may cry like Jesus did on the cross, He is still there.
But God must forsake you when you share your affections with the world.
If God is truly within you, then you will carefully associate with people who also love God. You will not share your affections with music that does not exalt heaven. You will be careful of you language, and not speak to please friends--recall Jesus said not to use expletives, and they knew Peter was a Christian by his pure language.
During your prayers, ask God to reveal Himself to you in a special way. Ask Him to show you where you have compromised with the world, or nurtured a murmuring spirit like those in Exodus.
There is also a Bible code that will explain very well the plan of saving you and this lost planet. Take your time and read all five chapters posted at http://abiblecode.tripod.com
Blessings and AGAPE, Balaam

You have to have faith in God. praying and going to church doesn't make u a christian anymore than going to a garage makes you a mechanic. You have to have a personal relationship with Him. Get to know him just like you would a best friend. just because God doesn't answer your prayers in your time does not mean that he doesn't like you or whatever. God wants you to have faith in Him and he will answer your prayers in His time, not yours. and sometimes He performs miracles everyday to show us that He is here but we fail to pay attention or give Him credit. It's a really sad thing if someone does not believe in God, even the devil believes in God. I hope this helps you. keep your faith

well for one, there is a God in heaven that created all things. God does answer prayers if you're a Christian, it may not be the answer that you want, but God does answer all Christians' prayers. God doesn't "show Himself" today like he did in the Old Testament, but you have to have faith that God is real. Hope that answered your question.

No one knows. That is why it is called faith. And don't make the mistake of thinking God has left you (as you already have). You just turned your back on God.

Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit and then raise your arms up to heaven and praise Him and wait until He fills you ,after that you are equipped to understand His will and His Word on another level.
One thing with God, you have to be absolutely serious with Him and He will show Himself to you.

Do you have a personal relationship with him? By that I mean not just going through the motions of praying/reading bible, but actually learning something from them and sharing it with other people?
