If anyone of us were God would we know it considering we are what we are taught to be.

You can take this to mean the messiah if you want instead of God? Same thing basically isn't it.

hmmm... a very interesting thought. I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that it is VERY possible. How would do you think you would learn that you are indeed God? But even moreso, once you find out about it, how would u feel about it? What would possibly be going through your mind? You would wonder "why me?". The thing is though, you're entire life would have to lead up to that point where you do discover that you are infact God.

I believe that if Christ were to return to this world it would be through rebirth. however, it could not be a miraculous birth through a virgin but instead perhaps maybe through twins instead (one being legitmate the other God's son) so it doesnt' attract attention in which case having the child being abducted and killed.

Another thing, a child being raise in this world would almost instantly be exposed to sin either through family, friends or even the media so God would have to organize the life of Christ so that He is raised through the teachings of the church. even His parents would have to be restricted from raising Him otherwise He would not be raised properly. So i imagine His earthly "father" would be absent from His life while His mother would not take any affiliation in His life either leaving it ALL up to God to raise His son who would have to be Catholic by exposing Him in the right situations with the right people at the right time and helping His son then best He can without Him even knowing it. He would have to grow up in a Catholic environment too like elementary and high school where the teach religion every year, which is how He'd learn how to live His life accordingly.

His son would have to be perfect... imagine that kind of pressure on Him? He spends His whole life just being a "normal" person (well, at least He'd think that, not too many people would understand Him strictly cos the world is evil and He is not) and then finding out you are God's son and you gotta do everything and say everything perfectly. I can't imagine that would be too easy...

I know it sounds complicated... but it's possible.

Andrew Greeley wrote a novel called "The God Game," where a priest gets a new computer and discovers it's already programmed with software that controls the decisions and fates of real people in, apparently, another universe. And he's the only one who can play the game. Or as he puts it: "I was given the kingdom, the power, and the glory, and believe me, it was no fun."

It was published many years ago, it's probably out of print now.

We are all a piece of God. All religions allude the fact that we have the power of God inherent in us. Even Jesus said, "You are everything that I already am." I also believe that we are each our own Messiah -- we have the means and opportunity to be everything that God, Jesus, Buddha, Diana, etc. already are, and that we can bring ourselves to that place -- Nirvana, Heaven, Shambhala -- by attuning ourselves to our highest state of being, by welcoming in all energies associated with this state, and by enlightening ourselves to the Oneness of us all. What a wonderful question you have asked. Thanks for the challenge.

God is not on earth in the form of man. God is in heaven where He will stay for the rest of eternity. There was only one time God was on the earth and that was when Christ was on the earth because God and Christ are one person. Christ will never step foot on the earth again. So God has only been on the earth one time and will never be here again, physically.

Could ALL of us be God and not know it? If God is omnipresent and transcendent then all of existence would be his body and one means of expressing himself. It does read in the Bible, "ye are gods." You'd think we'd be better behaved, huh? ;-)

No. Humans were created by God therefore cannot be God.

I'm sorry, but I am too imperfect and too human. I make too many mistakes. I could not possibly be God. Neither can any other human.

No, one of us cannot be God. That would ruin it for the rest of us.

what a great question, if god can do anything, could he make it so that he couldn't remember he was god?
