I need to remove Norton from my computer. When I tried using the Add Remove Wizard, It prompts me to insert the disk. I no longer can find the disk.

I have use of a different program through my ISP and need to remove Norton first.

I have tried doing it by regedit, but there are some entries that will not allow me to remove them.

What next can I do?

You might be able to get the info you need from the Norton (Symantic) web site. I did exactly what you are doing a couple of years ago, and I ran into similar issues. Their site can answer questions like this.

go to "control panel" find "Norton" program (any that pertain to 'Norton" , if any, also. ...
click on "add & remove" then confirm 'delete' & this should remove the program.
You may need to try a second time.
