What are ghosts? Why dont they go to hevean or hel1?

Maybe they are people that are not bad, but have commited suicide, or something like that...What do you think. Why are they still on earth?

I know its not a imagination thing cause when I was in Ireland, there was a kid by my bed who looked strange, but im sure wasnt a demond, because she looked innocent.

Ghosts are the spirits of the deceased, who's spirits are stuck here on earth, because of some type of unfinished business or tragedy that kept them from moving on.

Ghosts are supposed to be a spiritual part left over when we die.
The bible denies this idea.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

so there are no such things as ghosts.

But people see things they cannot explain.

These are demons, who have the abil;ity to make themselves look like dead people.

that is why the bible say to not have anything to do with this subject.

If you delve into these things, it is like inviting demons into your life and they will come...and make your life a misery.

(Galatians 5:19-21) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, 20 idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, 21 envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. (Leviticus 19:31) “‘Do not turn yourselves to the spirit mediums, and do not consult professional foretellers of events, so as to become unclean by them. I am Jehovah YOUR God.

(Deuteronomy 18:10-12) There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, 11 or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you.

There are no human spirits roaming the earth. However the extra-biblical book of Enoch which is quoted in the book of Jude says that when angels had children with mankind that their offspring when they died roamed the earth because no place was found for them in Heaven or in Hell.

At death we are resting in the grave until judgement day, so ghosts cannot be true.
But wicked spirits abound in the earth.

I read up on it and they say ghosts are spirits who have chosen to not leave the earth, and most dont even know they are dead.

They are projected by the minds of the living. We take the impressions of the environment and project an entity or pattern called a ghost with our own minds. They have no substance or consciousness, they are like pictures on a screen.
