So why doesn't God make everyone into perfect beings and allow them all into heaven? It would actually be more cruel if God were to do this, since many people prefer hell to the alternative (complete submission to God). All the people who end up going to hell will have done so because they actually prefer hell to being forced into the presence of God for all eternity. People like to live in their favorite sins and answer to no one else. They know that if they accept Jesus as Lord and Savior that God will want them to change their lives and they might have to give up some of their autonomy.

He did make man perfect at one time (adam and eve) but they were put through a simple test in which they failed they ate the apple of the tree of good and evil they wern't suppose to... so now they have knowledge of good and evil... and when they were perfect they only had knowledge of good.... so from then on they had a choice of excepting 1 or the other ... like u and me.... and some ppl decide that they dont want to except jesus because they think they have to give up too much, or it is time consuming, or the want to have fun and drink/party away, and blend in because following the lord may seem
(( uncool)) there are changes that come with being a true follower of god. and ppl just simply dont want to be bothered.

NO god did not plan for sin to be... that is why he mad perfect adam and eve.... adam and eve are the ones who changed the face oh humanity....

I said it before and I'll say it again, here is my answer to a similar question maybe it will help you understand. It has nothing to do with "favorite sins" or giving up autonomy... it has everything to do with morality and principles.

Well my view is... if there is a god and I eventually come face to face with him I will not fall down crying and begging for forgiveness. What I will do is ask 2 questions...

Are you really going to punish good moral, honest and loving people just because they could not believe in you without proof?

Also.. Is it true that you would let people like Adolf Hitler, etc into heaven as long as they believe in you and repent even though they committed atrocious acts in your name, and at the same time punish people who did only good in their life but didnt believe in you?

If the answer to either of these questions is "Yes" then I would turn by back on that kind of god still, and I would not regret it because I would rather suffer in hell than be in a heaven where goodness of intention and heart mean nothing and only worship gets you in no matter what kind of things you have done in your life.
If the answer to all questions was "No" then I would say well then that is the god I have hoped for instead of the god Christianity has touted for centuries. I am sorry I doubted you, but I will not ask for forgiveness because if you are that god then no forgiveness is necessary since you are all that is right and good and I have always believed in all that is right and good.

Let me spell it out for you... I AM NOT AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR WHAT I KNOW IS RIGHT, EVEN IF IT MEANS ETERNAL SUFFERING.

It's not a preference of hell to God. You have to respect other people and their beliefs. There are entire cultures that have other beliefs and they don't think they are going to hell. They believe they live again, or go to Nirvana or whatever.

Sadly as well, so many Christians are complete jerks that most people don't really believe they will be changed by Jesus. So, they think they are not making any choice to change at all regardless of believing in God or not. There is always free will and it couldn't be any different, God gives people a choice to love Him or not.

Because they fear God and live in rebellion as the devil is the only one that let in to speak. And, they dont truly believe in a literal hell or a literal heaven, so there is no fear. But there is a real God and there is a real hell, and one day all will know. If anyone truly understood the concepts of hell, noone would choose it, But the devil tells them not to believe, not to worry, and they agree. I say, If I were Athiest, I would have to study with Christians for a long time and i would have to see and KNOW the truth, before I rejected it. What a horrible price to pay if they are wrong, hey? and they are wrong. We can try to warn them, as God says to, but choice is theirs alone to make. PPl hate to give up their will for God, and they do hold onto their own cherished little sins, whatever are their particular weakness. But they dont realize, God donest take away anything thats good for us, He only takes away the things that lead to more pain and destruction. PPL fear change and ppl fear giving up their will as we are a nation of selfish ppl that do as we please at any costs. Read the newspaper lately??? Devil had to get ppl to the point that its all about self and then he knew he could take even more with him to hell, and ppl allow it. We all have equal opportunity to know and learn, but if they wont, its on them and its for God to deal with. Just pray and keep speaking truth.

Sin is unexplainable, and that is why it is called in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity..."

To try and explain it is to offer a reason for its existence, but it was never part of God's plan.

When all is perfect, peace, wonderful, immaculate, then how can you offer something different and suggest it is an improvement.

Satan proposed a democratic government where anyone who slanders the other can get elected.

And that is what Satan did to God. He offered suggestions of selfishness on God's part, and insinuated motives--Just like Absalom did at the city gate, and stole the hearts of David's subjects. He said: I can do a better job, come to me.

So, many unknowingly fall prey to Satan's insinuations. Others, sell their eternity on a cheap market by knowingly serving Satan.

In those words Hell could be a rattling relaxing place and heaven could be boring and lame so specific i might plenty particularly visit hell. yet right this is the place I also have a difficulty, what christian would not believe hell is a bad place? This paragraph looks like a lame excuse for a controversy for god. there is no god so that's a ludicrous question.

You are living in an absurd dreamland. Why do people prefer fantasy over reality? What is the bible? A book. Even if the bible were true, Christianity would still be a crock. Just one of many problems with it is accepting SOME of Mosaic law such as the Ten Commandments and the prohibition against homosexuality, but throwing out the rest such as the legality of stoning people to death or cutting women's hands off for touching the wrong man.

My decision to be an atheist has nothing to do with God, heaven or hell. In fact, it's the absence of belief in God, heaven or hell/
Let me ask you this, are you "trying" to be a good moral person because of a promise of an afterlife? Don't you think that's a bit selfish? And no, this is not meant to be an insult. I just want to know what motivates some of you to believe in God.

It is part of the mystery of iniquity - some people are so proud that they prefer eternal misery to accepting the mercy of God.

If people reject the mercy of God, then He cannot force it on them, then has no choice to let them go, as hell is simply that which is outside of God's ordering and sustaining influence - hell in essence is the outer darkness apart from God's light - it is not some place that He created to throw those people who disagree with Him.

Yeah, most people who live continual sinful lives (where when they sin, they realize it and don't care) don't realize the reality of Hell; they just look at the here and now and only care about what currently pleases themselves.

A fatal choice.

God Bless :)
