you know, they both have some kick *** rides though......
but you should ask this same question in 2009 or 2010.... because i'll be moding the new camaro in one of those years....
after i'm finished building the new camaro it will be compared with my current 07 900hp mustang..... hopefully then i'll be able to give you a straight up answer on "which is better".

Ford. I have a 1967 F-100 that is original in every respect except for tires and wheels. One of my brothers has a 1998 Chevy that is in need of major repair, another brother with a 2006 Chevy Impala SS that seems to be in the shop more then on the road (a certified GM used car).
My grandfather introduces me to Ford's many years ago, and have had at least one ever since.
I confess that I do own a 2002 Dodge Neon because of the wife. After her '96 Caviler died, I said no more Chevy's. She could have anything but one of THOSE. Chevy; The throw away car. That's why there are so many parts available for repairing Chevy's.

According to every major quality report published in the last few years, Ford has ranked significantly better than GM, and Chevy happens to be one of GMs worst brand names. Plus Chevy has no car that gets me into dealerships. Other than the Corvette, all of their cars are made for grandmothers and soccer moms. And the Corvette barely counts because it is out of most people's price range. At least Ford has the Mustang, and the Fusion is a sharp little car with an excellent reliabilty rating. Judging by all this, I think Ford is the better brand.
I guess it is a good thing that Chevys are easy to work on and find parts for, because the record shows they break far more often.

ford , just because everyone likes to work on chevys. chevy is the model t on the 60-late 80 s . My kid could probably build one. the chevy parts are everywhere because their junk. it seems as they always require some sort of maintanence after you drive them. Chevy hasnt built a good cop car since the old caprices of the 80's.when there is an abundent amount of chevy parts available thats why its less to purchase the parts. as compared to Ford or Dodge which neither has a great number of parts mfgs like chevy does. Ive owned alot of chevys and a couple dodges and some fords . my Ford Mustangs have never let me down

After being a used car tech for years and now a Ford Transmission tech. I would have to say that Ford trucks are far superior to both Chevy and Dodge. We all know that Ford had a few problems with their transmissions, but the new transmissions are really good and have very few problems. As far as the cars Ford does not have any common failures like intake manifolds on those chevrolets. I choose Ford all the way against chevy. As far as my personal opinion the best CAR is a nissan maxima, never see them at our dealership after being sold except for maintenance.

i was always a Chevy fan that hated ford BUT, after the 2004 f150 models came out, they caught my eye. last year i took Chevy, dodge and a ford f150 for a test drive. the ford f150 5.4 Triton was balls to the wall so i bought it. never had i problem with it and it does everything i need it to do. besides, Chevy is starting to look like an old man truck if you ask me. you can see it in my profile. P.S. i thought that the Chevy trucks where way over priced.

Chevy or Ford, well if you take the best car each manufacturer makes, so Corvette or GT40? Both are pretty good it's hard to decide but I would lean towards the Ford GT it has more of a racing history.

I noticed a lot of answers her saying Chevy because they are cheaper & easier to work on, find parts easier.
This is why I choose to be a Ford man, cause I don't have to work on them all the time.
I use to be a GM man when I was young. but I got tired of having to work on my cars all the time.
