You'd have to be more specific.
An American football is not spherical.
There are bearing that are not using spherical but cylindrical or conical elements.

I always thought the definition of a "ball" was a spherical shape.
But balls aren't round, they are spheres. Round is a 2-dimensional shape, balls are 3-dimensional.

Rugby is a game played by men with odd shaped balls so, I guess they're not all round !!! ...think about it.

Well that depends on what and whose balls your talking about! if your talking about guys then no they are not completely round, actually they are shaped like an egg!
